On steam, my download speeds are generally around ~28MB/s. I bought HOMM 2 (size around 500MB) and download speeds were around ~5 MB/s (the B is capital). This works under normal circumstances, but, unfortunately, we have learned that if a user's connection assigns a different IP when connecting to our site, and then a different IP when the actual download is initiated with our file hosting provider, an IP mismatch occurs, resulting in the 403 error.

Our browser download links are IP-based, to accommodate browser download resuming. This application uses different means of authentication than browser links, and using it is practically guaranteed to fix this issue. Please use GOG GALAXY to download your files.
